Hi I seem to have dirt under the skin from my feet to below my knees it looks like an explosen under the skin the way it looks tried scrubing 4-5 times aday but it under the skin and seems to stay. I am obese and suffer from very dry skin which started around both feet a few years ago and have tried sprays and creams but have had no joy.
You said that you have hyperpigmented and thick skin on legs below knee upto feet. You are trying to remove it by scrubbing 4-5 times a day. I can understand your anxiety for thick pigmented skin on legs. If you have itching, you may take antihistaminics like levocetirizine. And locally you apply combined oint of steroid and salicylic acid like clop- S oint. However, you should go for investigations to rule out DM. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. Avoid scrubbing as it might exacerbate the disease.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
