What Causes Pinching Pain In Nose Radiating Towards Head Along With Congestion?

My husband has pain in his nose like as if it were bruised. In the area as if you were pinching your nose right where the cartlidge starts. Says it radiates diagonally up the side of his head when he pushes on this area. He has had a little congestion this week but no other symptoms. This pain started a couple days ago. YYYY@YYYY

As per your complain the symptoms of pain in nose and feeling of bruised along with pain radiating to the side of head along with congestion seems to be due to inflammation of sinuses leading to Sinusitis..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS View or MRI of sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller like Advil or Aleve, decongestants like Phenylephrine, decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline..
Do steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Do steroid nasal sprays..
Avoid chilled foods and air conditioned atmosphere..
Limit exposure to dust and pollutants..
