General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The red-pink color in urine indicate an early sign of urinary infection with cystitis where the bladder epithelium gets sloughed out in form of red fibers as described.
* Plenty of liquids, cranberry pills help early phase, later on, according to the recovery one may require antibiotic assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
