What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge With Streak Of Red Tissue?

It has been about a week since I had my period which seemed pretty normal for me. It wa heavy with a lot of tissue, but that has always been the case. Two days ago I notice light pink with a streak of red tissue. Nothing yesterday and again today I noticed the same thing. My period is not due until the end of the month. Any idea what this may be?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pink discharge one week after the periods can be ovulation bleeding.
It can also be due to local lesions in the cervix or vagina.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper examination, pap smear and further management should be done accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
