General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. The pinkish vaginal discharge after sex can be- - Cervical erosion, Cervical/vaginal infection, cervical polyp, -.Withdrawal symptoms of of the depot may have irregular bleeding -. Return of fertility after withdrawal of depot provera is 3-6 weeks. At the same time, Bleeding at the time of unprotected sex does not indicate possibility of pregnancy.IT needs to be confirmed after 8 days delay in menses. * You need a through gynecological check up for excluding cervical problems & treatment if needful. * Wait for the resume of your normal menstrual cycle, if there is no cervical problem/ pregnancy. Thanks.
