What Causes Pinkish Skin That Burns When Touched On The Cheek?
I have a spot on the top of my cheek about the size of a dime. It is pink like new skin, but it burns when i touch it, wash my face or put on my makeup. It doesn t change, but it is constantly there. I have had it about 2 months now. Should I be worried it s cancer? I keep forgetting to ask my doctor when i go in.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a sebaceous cyst on cheek.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.
