hi i have pins and needles down my right side regular and intermitted also lose grip of things i have to sit where i can lean on a surface through my side weakness ms has been ruled out but no one knows whats wrong with e and this has been over 12 months
Hi, thanks for posting in the HCM. Pins and needle sensation and reduced grip strength may be due to neuropathy. Ischaemic cerebro vascular accident should also be ruled out. Urgent neurologist consultation is necessary. For the time being my recommendations are- 1. Salt restricted fat restricted diet (salt2. Vitamin B complex supplement combined with antioxidant capsule may be taken once daily. 3. Imaging of the brain and spine may be needed (if not done already to exclude MS) after clinical examination by a neurologist. In case you have any further query in future, you can directly ask me questions @ http://www.HealthcareMagic.com/doctors/dr-kaushik-sarkar/68460. Please attach all available investigation reports and mention history regarding any chronic or acute medical illness, drug allergy, bladder, bowel habit and your current list of medications.
