What Causes Pooling In Foot & Ankle In Elderly Woman?

My Mother is 93 and has blood pooling in her foot and ankle. Medical massage therapist wrapped it but only bruised it more. Massage helped a bit, down in early am up again as soon as on feet. Today it is seeping clear fluid out of leg/pore no lesions. Very thin skin. Going to DR this pm but seeping is non stop since about 9am today. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

As this must be just a bruise leading to fluid ozing out and it will be the metabolic waste so nothing much to worry. Taking care of the wound is more important.

Never to do over tightening of the foot with any material as it may lead to skin wounds. Since in aging it's common to has lose and soft skin. Taking utmost care of the skin is important.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
