Hi I was in a bike accident, in which I hit my chin, and had some bleeding from my right ear. It is difficult for me to chew food but get better each day. My concern is my ear, my ear pops and also feel like when you go swimming and you get water in it! Each day it seems to get better but it itches inside. Please advice
i would like to tell you that these symptoms refer to bacterial infection of ear secondery to trauma you had ...........this infection cause effusion of fluid and discharge that makes you feel these symptoms.............the effect of infection should be taken seriously as in some cases this may cause severe pain and itching and popping and also temporary hear loss or damage of ear and permenant hear loss as complication.........so treatment should begin as early as possible to avoid these effects...........the treatment mainly with antibiotics such as erythromycin as it is very useful in ear infections management........ ..you should consult ent specialist for examination of ear and doing blood culture as investigation and also do drainage of fluid and discharge.....
wish you healthy life
