What Causes Popping Sound From Back, Hip, And Neck Joint?

Hi, I m 21 years old and moderately active, and I ve noticed that my joints seem to crack very frequently--much more than anyone else I know. Simple movements such as straightening out my leg will result in a popping sound. It s in my ankles, knees, back, hip, and neck. Is this normal? If so, why is this so much more common for me than other people around me?
