What Causes Popping Sound While Swallowing And Largeness Of Neck?
Hi my neck is bigger on the left side and feels fuller. When I swallow I feel a poping sound on the same side I went to the doctor and had bloodwork and everything came back fine I was wondering could it be normal I ve had it going on now for 5 years.
You may consider getting an ultrasound of neck since it could be enlarged thyroid or lymph nodes, etc. Sometimes the thyroid can compensate the hormone levels by enlarging which may be the reason of normal blood work. Also, euthyroid status on biochemistry does not completely rule out thyroid nodules. However, consult an ENT specialist to discuss the possibilities.
