What Causes Positive And Negative Result In Pregnancy Tests?

I ovulated on 9/29 or 9/30 and got a positive home pregnancy test result on 10/10 and another positive result on 10/11. I got a negative result in the morning of 10/12 and then a positive result later that same day. Am I pregnant? Why did I get the negative result?

Hi, thanks for writing..
The ideal specimen for pregnancy test is early morning sample. Other times due to diluted urine , it might not become positive. So repeat preg test with early morning sample. For confirmation you can get a hcg test. Hcg>25 suggest positive pregnancy. Hope I have answered your queries. Feel free to ask ant doubts through http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-dalia-muraleedharan/68596. Good day.
