What Causes Positive Pregnancy After Doing D And C?

Hi, I had a D & C done on the 6th of this month and I went to the hospital yesterday for some pain was going to get an x-ray done, but then took a pregnancy test to be sure before doing the x-ray. The test came up positive. Can I be pregnant or do I still have the pregnancy hormones still in me?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the positive test might be due to presence of hormones in the body.It will take a month or variable time for HCG level to come down.So till that time the pregnancy test can be positive.So dont worry.Relax.There is no chance of pregnancy continuation after D&C.
