Hi there, I feel like I may be pregnant, have taken a HPT which is negative. If I was pregnant I would be about 17 weeks. I used to be on depo provera but came off this in July as I was convined that it was causing my depression. For my depression I was given fluoxetine. I am on a minimal dose and am in the process of trying to wean off it. I get fluttery feelings in my abdomen as I felt when I was expecting my previous children so was just a little concerned. I had been on depo for over a year and have not a period since I came off it. I do believe it takes some time to get back to normal. I just wondered if there was any way that any of my medications could effect the pregnancy test result?
Hi there. After reading your question and fully understanding your problem, I am of the opinion that you could be pregnant, but chances are very less because you have had multiple negative pregnancy test reports. I would suggest that you get a blood test done for serum beta HCG. I would also recommend visiting your obstetrician and undergoing and ultrasound. If you are pregnant, this test will surely give a reliable report.
