What Causes Pregnant Woman To Vomit Green Stuff?
hi i was hoping you can help me. my wife is 13 weeks pregnant and has a sickness bug she has been vomiting all day on the hour since about 4 am this morning she is now bringing up green vomit. is there anything i can do for her and will it affect the baby?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Excessive vomiting in early pregnancy can be due to:
1. Hyperemesis gravidarum
2.Viral hepatitis
3. Gastroenteritis.
Due to excessive vomiting, the green coloured bile is also vomited out. This is responsible for green colour of the Vomitus.
Since your wife is having excessive vomiting, that can lead to complications. Therefore, I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get her properly examined, investigated and treated as an inpatient.
