What Causes Presence Of Protein In Urine?
I had a grand mal seizure sunday... nothing in the blood work or head scan, just more protien than normal in my urine. (Which is most likely from the stress on the kidneys from the siezure right?) ANyway... I got back from Kenya in Sept.... Very healthy no family seizure history.... What do you think the cause could be? Pork Tapeworm from something I ate their? I have no idea if not something from Kenya.

Your urine protein has nothing to do with the seizure or its treatment.
Your kidney function,blood urea, creatinine,and sugar must be checked.
If repeated urine after 3 days shows urine protein high, then you need a 24 hours urine protein tested.Also, you need an Ultrasound scan of the abdomen in that case.Once reports are available, you can contact me by name ,to get an Urologists expert opinion.
