My mother(60 Yrs old) is having 3+ albumniuria. She is not having blood sugar problem. She is taking medicine to keep the BP in control. Currently her BP(130/90) is in control from the last 10 years. She is having PUS as well as as RBC s in urin. What could be the reason?

Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Asad Riaz, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem normally RBC n albumin is not present is urine .this is only prsent if there is rupture of glomular membrane in kidney responsible for filteration.at this age it can be due to severe infection n this type of albuminuria is due to nephrotic syndrome(e.g due to hypertension etc),i would like u to see ur nephrologist so he can run some tests n then treat it ..
