What Causes Pressure And Lump Around The Vagina After Intercourse?
My name is Sumi and am 40 yrs old. I have a child of 3.5 yrs. I had a normal delivery. But the baby was premature (born in 34 weeks). I had no complications or issue in my delivery. My last period was on 30th Dec. Now my period cycle is around 24-25 days. On 6th Jan i had an intercourse with my husband. But after that i had a blackout. This was the 1st time that we had intercourse after my delivery since my husband works in a different city. Since wednesday(11th Jan) i've been having a dull lower stomach pain. And felt a lot of pressure near my vagina. But since 11th night i feel as though there is some lump sort of thing around my vagina/anus area when i walk. Today i have no abdomen pain though. Can u let me know if there anything that i should be worried about.
Hello, As calculated by your current cycle span, you were in the safe period when you had the intercourse. The cause of the blackout should be sought after. It could be anything from transient hypotension, hypoglycemia, rupture of an undiagnosed cyst of the ovary and so on. You need to have a speculum examination of the vagina to see if there is any prolapse of the vaginal walls or the uterus which often happens after a vaginal delivery without proper post natal exercises to regain pelvic floor tone. Hope this helps.
