What Causes Pressure In One Eye And Inability To Focus With New Prescription?

I was at the eye dr. this week and told the pressure in one eye a little too high and they could not get the eye to focus with a new prescription. The dr. didn t diagnose me with glaucoma, but I was wondering if I should check with my regular family dr. for a blood pressure check?

Blood pressure and eye pressure is not directly related. Glaucoma or raised intraocular pressure may cause difficulty in ciliary body disfunction which leads to difficulty in adjusting glasses. You should have repeated eye pressure and optic disc examination. And if pressure comes to be more than 21 mmHg or optic disc have some glaucomatous changes therepy must be started to lower IOP.
