What Causes Pressure In The Rectum After A Colon Surgery?
I had colon surgery last year, the doctor said I was well and allowed to eat anything afyer the surgery. and I m wondering why I feeling some pressure in my rectal area, as if there is some thing left after I have done bowel movement. Sorry I don t know how to say it in a nicer way.

It may be due to damage to the nerves or impaction or irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or fecal impaction etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Take high fibre diet and regular exercise, if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
