Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pressure at my temples, it s not painful, just like there s a string tied around my head. It is mild and every once in a while feels like a little more pressure, then back to a constant mild tension. I ve felt this way before but not for a while. It s been doing this since I woke up this morning.
Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.
Your symtom is suggestive towards tension headache. For that you need to take rest while working on computer or watching TV. Paracetamol SOS taken when needed. Take enough sleep and healthy diet. Yoga, meditation and daily exercise useful. I suggest you to check your blood pressure as well. Amitryptillin can be prescribed for long term tension headache.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
