I have pricking sensation and so cough cotinuously.. i have tried several medicines including alopathy and homepathy but there is no change in my cough. I have this cough from amy be last few months...Even then i don't have any pain in the throat. what could it be...

This uncomfortable sensation as you explained could be due to dripping of mucus from behind the nose through the upper part of the throat. Or it might be due to allergy or granular pharyngitis.
It's better to start on mucolytics and antihistamines to control the symptoms.
