What Causes Problem In Bowel Movements And Problem In Breathing After Vomiting?

I m bulimic and I was wondering if that may contribute to the fact that I have a difficult time defecating as well as having a difficult time breathing through my nose after throwing up (for about 5 hours afterwards)... if so could you explain why?Thanks...

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Noted the history about bulimia and wants to know whether this may contribute to the fact that you have difficulty in defecating, as well as have difficult time in breathing through nose after throwing up, and wants to know why?

In patients with bulimia, the quantity of food is so high that the abdomen gets distended from within, the intestines are full and hence the normal digestion is disrupted and hence the problem of difficulty in passing motion.Once you vomit the throat and the related area of nose gets the stomach contents hence the blockage of the nose and difficulty in breathing through nose. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for proper treatment and also get a help of a gastroenterologist for a combined treatment.
