Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I sweat excessively, but not as described for hyperhidrosis. My hands and feet don't sweat, but my head does! After any exertion, my hair will be wringing wet. I also sweat all over my body so that my shirt will be wet as well. I am in my 70s, but this has been a problem since I was a young adult. Obviously, deodorant is not an answer. The kind of solution I would want is a pill or liquid that I could take to slow down the sweating.
After going through your query I understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that you are suffering with Local Hyperhidrosis in which you have scalp swearing and body sweating except feet n hand. Now Cause of local hyperhidrosis can be , idiopathic, metabolic or medication use.
It's advisable for you to 1. Personally consult with a Physician and get some blood work up done to evaluate any underlying disease that can cause Hyperhidrosis 2. Check side effects of the medicine if you are taking any .
There are treatments available for Hyperhidrosis, but get yourself evaluated first so the right treatment can be given to you .
Hopefully this will answer your query
