What Causes Prolonged Breakthrough Bleeding While On Femilion?

Hi.I am 18 and i have been taking femilion contraceptives to regulate my period but due to exams i had to delay my period by starting the next pack without the seven day break. It said i will experience break through bleeding but its been going on for a few days now and i dont know how to stop it as it gets really uncomfortable
