What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Periods?

I had chlamydia 5 years ago which was left untreated but not sure for how long , but my period now lasts for 2 weeks at a time bur I don't have Any pain apart from normal period pain but was wondering if this could be pid from the chlamydia , thanks
