What Causes Prolonged Periods After Taking Plan B?
I took plan-b after a misshap (I took it the very next day). 2 weeks after taking it I got my period which was slightly early by like a week. Which was the 31st of May today it is the 11th of June and I am still bleeding so its my 12th day. When this bleeding started I started on regular birth control. I want to know should I continue to take my birth control or should I stop, and when can I expect this to stop is there anything I can do and at what point should I go back to my doctor?
It is not necessary to take plan B if you take both pills the next day. If you take both pills next day you are protected. The first day of the period you should start a new package of pills and continue them regularly every day.
