About two weeks ago, I noticed a prolonged sore throat and went to the doctor to check it out. He claimed I had mono, though I didn t show any similar symptoms (fever, spleen enlargement, flu-like symptoms, etc.) besides the sore throat. I have felt fine since besides pain in my throat after I wake up in the morning and some pain where I think the tonsils are (the area is veiny and red). Ideas?
PROLONGED sore throat may be due to poor oral hygiene, uncured infections, infections of tonsils and many more. so please follow your physician's instructions and he will help in diagnosing and curing the symptom and disease.
