What Causes Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding After Having Sex?
2weeks ago my boyfriend visited me at college for the weekend. He stayed Friday through Monday. Everday we had sex alot. At some point I became very sore but I continued to have sex even though. (Like if he tried to finger me it would be really sore and when he put it in it hurt ). When he left Mon I started to have brown discharge that last for 3days. So I assumed my period was close. Then Thursday I started bleeding and I have continued to be bleeding for a week and 3 days now. My period has been kinda different his time. Other than lasting longer. It s went up and down from heavy to light. And I think it may have stopped a couple times or just really slowed down . I don t know if this is because I pused my body to far and continued to have sex or if I should be worried.
The prolonged bleeding after sex can be related to vulvovaginitis, which is due to prolonged and rough sex causing a local injury in the area also. Needs to be confirmed after a close examination.
