Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, when I was 15 my zygomatic bone and zygomatic arch started growing in width. My face got a lot wider in about a year. The zygomatic arch and bone are protruding now. The doctor I consulted told me this isn't possible since the growth of the bone in width is completed by the age of twelve. Nevertheless, the bones protruded. The oval of the face changed. I didn't gain or lose weight. It's the bones. Can you tell me the reasons for this? And is it possible to fix this somehow?
