What Causes Protruding Ribcage In A Child?
My 5 yr. old grandson has a protruding rib cage,his chest is normal, his stomoch is flat ,but the bottom of the rib cage sticks out, My daughter sent me a photograph of him at the water park, and brought it to my attention. Is this just his shape, or is it a symptom of something? He is a very happy active boy. WORRIED gRANDMA.
