What Causes Puckering Of Skin Of The Areolar Region?

I have a question about the BSE. I've never noticed that both my areolas pucker at around 7-8 o'clock region if I stand with both my hands above my head, is that normal, or should I worry? I am 31, have children, no lumps noted. No FMH or breast cancer.

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Skin puckering of skin in areolar region is many a times a sign of breast malignancy.
Though symmetrical puckering on both sides is not common/ no lymph nodes, mass in breast./ There is no family history of malignancy, it is better to exclude malignancy by mammogram. You should go to a gynecologist for your physical examination & referral to a Radiologist for Mammography.. to exclude the condition(.As early diagnosis is the key to complete & quick recovery. & exclusion is best policy for a tension free , healthy life ).
Thanks.
