What Causes Puffiness And Severe Pressure In Eyes?

Hi. I suffered 2 concussions 1 month apart (April 2 and May 1, 2014). I have seen 2 neurologists plus had 2 Er visits. Other than cerebellar tonsils, MRIs and CT scans were unremarkable. Midrin helps some with pain but Drs concerned about bounceback headaches, so I now only take 1 every other day and suffer the rest of the time. Last week my eyelids became so puffy and swollen that it poofed down to my eyelids, along with severe eye pressure, and difficulty looking up or to the side. My eyes looked bulbous and I went to an urgent care, where they gave me Flonase (this is not allergies.) Then I went to the ER and received dilaudid which helped temporarily with pain. The amount of swelling seems to vary, but the pressure is constant. No-one seems to know what to do or whether this is a result of my double hit/post concussion syndrome and will pass as the brain swelling subsides, or is something different. I do think it is telling that the Midrin helps, as it obviously isn t the 325 mg of tylenol but instead one of the other ingredients that help. It seems related to vascular dialation to me. My BP is usually low (90/60) but since the concussion jumps between low to 134/88...high for me... and then down again. Any additional opinions are welcomed! Thanks, Sue.
