What Causes Pulling Sensation And Numbness After Cutting Of Finger?

Hello I jus recently cut my middle finger above the first knuckle slightly on the side next to the index..now I have numbness from the cut up and only the length of of the cut I also cannot bend the second knuckle...when I attempt to try n bend second knuckle it feels like I sortof feels like its my bone that needs to be crack n also a pulling sensation....is it a nerve, tendon both..

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to nerve damage. As you cannot bend the second knuckle, a tendon damage cannot be excluded either.

For this reason, I recommend consulting with a hand surgeon for a physical exam. A nerve conduction study may be needed too.
