Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pulse behind the left ear which seems to be due either stress and anxiety, changes in local blood pressure and residual respiratory tract infection or due to nerve impingement. Need not to worry. You should take combination of antibiotic such as Levofloxacin along with antiinflammatory medication. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for otoscopic examination of ear and auditory testing as well and start treatment after proper examination. Put otogesic ear drops in ear. Apply warm compresses. You should go for mouth stretching exercises. Drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
