What Causes Purple Blotches In Left Leg?

Hello, My left leg from my thigh down has been blotchy with purple and red my whole life. No pain, itching, burning or anything just a major insecurity. I always thought maybe it was just a birthmark but now I am thinking what if its something with circulaton? Can it be fixed?
