What Causes Purple Coloured Bruise On The Top Of The Eyelid?
When I looked in the mirrow yesterday morning I notdiced a purple type bruise on my top eyelid near the inside corner. Today it is a little bit darker. I have not bumped my eye and it is not sore. Today it is a little bit darker.

It seems from the history that you are having purple bruise on eyelid. This is because of collection of blood in the layers of the skin of the eyelids.
This can follow minor injuries or spontaneously without any history of injury in case of systemic diseases with fragile vessels like diabetes, hypertension...
This will be a self resolving condition and it will resolve by 3-4 weeks. If there are recurrent episodes then you require systemic evaluation, otherwise no need to worry.
