What Causes Purple Earlobes After Piercing?
I recently gauged my ears & there was no pain, but I noticed that my left ear lobe has started to turn purple at the very bottom.? I don t know what it could be because my gauges are not made out of metal or anything.. but I took them out just to make sure. Any suggestions.?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some infection after ear lobe piercing.
There might be having induration and swelling due to infection.
It is better you removed ear ring as now infection will subside.
Apply antibiotic cream locally.
If problem persisted then you might require one antibiotic medicine course.
