What Causes Purple Spot On Penis After Sex?

I had sex with a girl I met last night. We eere quite energetic and 8 hrs later when I woke up I have a dark purple spot the size of penny on the shaft of my penis. it does not itch and doesnt appear to be broken skin andnot painful. Is this an std or just a bruise from being to enthusiastic?

Hello,

Since there is purple spot without pain or broken skin it is nothing to worry, it is due to increased blood flow during sexual arousal & vigorous/rough sex. It should go away by itself. However, if it is a hematoma due to bruise; you can apply ointment thrombophob in the affected area. If you are sexually active with multiple partners, you are suggested to get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. Always practice safe sex & avoid multiple partners.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
