What Causes Purplish Bruise On Lips?

Hello i woke up this morning with a purplish bruise under my bottom lip. I dont remember hurting myself in that area during the night nor would i be able to reach that low by biting. Please help! It hurts when i press it with my finger and even move my mouth.
