What Causes Purplish Eyelids?

My right top eyelid is purple/black looking. The doctor said it was a stye, but Ive had them before and it s not like THIS. Looking at stye pictures online NONE look like what I have. It literally looks like I got punched in the eye... Any suggestions as to what it could be would be great! Should I see another doctor? I wish i could insert a picture!

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having purple colored eyelids.
This happens commonly because of bleeding into the eyelids.
Rarely stye can cause this.
Hence do send a photo of the affected eye so that I can confirm the diagnosis and advice you more accurately.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
