What Causes Purplish Lips While On Synthroid For Hypothyroid?

in the previous post i read purplish lips are cyonisis, or serious health issues. i have always been athletic, i have had heart tests done out the u know what. nothing wrong. i however do have an underactive thyroid condition, but have been on synthroid for about 15 years now. what is wrong with me it is very embarrassing for me

Hello,

The symptoms you described are not related to thyroid disease. The most common pathologies causing cyanosis of the lips are cardiac diseases. You need a cardiac ultrasound.
