Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Hcm,
I'm sorry to hear about your child s situation. But let me assure you that this is not something which is not treatable. Its in fact completely curable. Pus cells in stools mean there is some infection in the intestines of your baby and that is seen in the stool culture also which grew bacterial organism. The recurrence of the problem probably is due to the infection being incompletely treated prior. So I would also suggest to get your child admitted and testing for typhoid needs to be done . Even if it comes positive, child can be cured with antibiotics. So dont worry and follow your pediatrician s advice. Wishing your child a great health. Take care.
