My question is about my scalp. I just had a boil about the size of a quarter on the back of my head. It grew larger throughout today. I fell asleep and when I woke up I found myself sweating like I was sick. I was having lower back pain all day after my workout. I just popped the thing and I heard a burst noise. My whole thumb was covered with blood and puss. It continued to bleed for another 10 minutes. A smaller one started right next to it and I m waiting for that one to get bigger. But it was big the other day and then shrunk. Then the bigger one formed instead. I also have at least 3 soars on my head that won t seem to heal or heal very slowly. I ve had them now for about 3 months and I ve never had them before. The pimple/boils I ve had before. When I was in the military, after bootcamp I 3 of them form on my face. I popped them and instead of a little, tons of puss and blood shot out and practically covered the whole entire mirror and it was a big mirror. After that I stopped having them. I didn t start having them again until I started working out more heavily in the last 4 weeks. I smoked from 2006 until about 3 weeks ago when I quit smoking and embraced running. I haven t had any cigarettes since. What is this?
