Hello and thank you for asking HCM.
Let me explain a few things before giving the diagnosis and what can be done.
Our urine is sterile. No bacteria, only a small amount of white cells, WBCs - ≤2-5 WBCs/hpf .Pus contains dead cells, bacteria and white blood cells. Pus in urine signifies that the body is fighting an infection in the lower or upper urinary tract. So we have an
urinary tract infection (UTI)
Our bladder is in our lower abdomen part so an infection of our bladder (
cystitis) might give us the pain that you have.
Also you might have other symptoms as well like the ones that i will write below:
-the urge to urinate
-burning sensation while urinating
-passing cloudy or strong-smelling urine
-blood in the urine
-Low grade fever
What can be done? Well you need to start antibiotics as soon as possible, before this infection goes at your kidneys.
If i was your doctor i would prescribe
fluoroquinolones (ciprofloxacine) or cephalosporins to treat your infection while waiting the result of the urine culture. (it will show the kind of bacteria responsible for the infection and the antibiotics that this bacteria is sensitive ).
Ibuprofen for the symptoms.
Also you need to have plenty of fluids,2-3 liters each day.
Chamomile tea,or rose tea are perfect to be used for UTI, 1 or 2 cups each day. They help the bladder clean itself and fight the infection.
So i suggest you go at your family doctor/physition and get the recipe with antibiotics to treat this infection.
