What Causes Puss Filled Red Bump On Shin?
I have a red bump on my shin. My girlfriend popped it last night and put antibiotic ointment on it. Today when I got home from work it grew a little bit; however, this time it had brown pus with blood come out. I spend a lot of time on the mats grappling and I am wondering if i should go get this checked out?

pus filled bump is suggestive of furuncle. its a bacterial infection. yes you need to get it checked because you will need a prescription of antibiotics from your doctor.
if i were your treating physician i would prescribe:
cap augmentin 625 mg thrice daily
t-bact cream twice daily
