What Causes Pyrosis And Chest Pain On Ingestion?

yes my boy is 45 years old and has heartburn no matter what he eats, the doctors has given him serval different prescription medicnes nothing has helped. It happens everyday all day but after eating it gets worse and is very painful, he has to stop doing what he is doing and holds his chest. It is painful to watch him it is so painful and he a tough man who can handle pain well.

Chest pain/Pyrosis can be due to esophageal or extra esophageal causes. He needs to get an ECG if normal, upper GI endoscopy with 24hr PH assessment for detecting reflux diseases. After investigation if the cause is esophageal then it can be managed by diet and medications.
