Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have a pulse of 90 bpm in normal resting condition. as soon as i walk or do anything physical it feels like my heart is racing, like ive run at least a mile. recently ive been having extreme flushing, though only in my face and im sweating more than usual, whats wrong with me? is this normal?
Hello, I understand how you are feeling, but there is no cause for alarm. Having a pulse of 90 bpm is normal. Normal pulse rate is between 60-100 bpm and increases during physical activity. But palpitations, flushing, and sweating can be caused by some conditions below: 1. General anxiety disorder 2. Panic attack 3. Stress or use of caffeine 4. Disorders of heart rhythm etc. You should do exercises frequently, sleep well and avoid to much stress and hopefully, you will get better. If your symptoms persists after 2-3 weeks of making these changes you should consult with a physician. Warm regards
