What Causes Radiating Abdominal Pains From Rib Cage To Pelvis?
I've been experiencing a pain in my stomach area that starts under my ribcage then shoots down to my genital area (right labia) then radiates. Its been doing it all day but the pain is now moving over to the left side. Couple this with a sense of painful butterflies in the lower abdomen and dizziness. Also feeling sleepy and a general sense of not feeling well.
The radiating pain from the ribcage to the labia is suggestive of a Stone with colic in the ureter with urinary tract infection, which is giving you the constitutional symptoms of painful butterflies in the stomach, not feeling well and dizziness, feeling sleepy.
I would advise you the following in such a case : First of all to sent the urine for culture and sensitivity before the antibiotic is started. Investigations of blood and urine Ultrasonography of the abdomen and the other relevant investigations as per the reports and clinical findings by a Doctor. Antibiotic and supportive treatment Surgery for the stone or obstruction as required .
