What Causes Raised Heart Beats While Taking Medication For Hypertension?

I have hypertension and my blood pressure has been difficult to manage. It has consistantly been 150/96. However lately my BP has been down in a more normal range (110/79) but my heart rate is over 100. I feel terrible all the time...dizzy, shaky and all I want to do is sleep 24/7. Is this common? Is it caused by my meds? I am on Tribenzor.

Hi,

Anti-hypertensive may cause little dizzy and drowsiness. I think sudden drop of your blood pressure may also cause drowsiness. Other possibilities like infection or cardiac problem may also cause this symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query.
